"Together at Last"

Chantal and I met in 2005. We were "trailer-mates" in college, and we became fast friends from day one, and we've been close ever since! It was an honor and a privilege to photograph her wedding! I knew that Chantal had liked Titus for a while, and then one day a year and 1/2 ago I got a call from Chantal saying that she and Titus were dating. They were engaged Christmas Eve of last year. Shortly after their engagement Titus was deployed to Afghanistan and Chantal left for Ecuador to teach at an orphanage school for a year. And they were apart for their ENTIRE engagement! Before he left Titus gave Chantal his dog tags and she wore them every day until he took them off on their wedding day. Their first kiss wasn't until Chantal's dad (who preformed the ceremony) announced them Husband and Wife. When I left Memphis it was 37 degrees...when I landed in Minnesota it was 4. The day of the wedding reached a high of 25, and we still braved the weather to get some outside show shots! It was a beautiful wedding and I wish them both the best of luck. Once they get back from their Honeymoon they leave for a year long stay in Hawaii were Titus is stationed...how can it get any better!
